Ammonite fossils lived in the seas 65-200 million years ago & became extinct along with dinosaurs. Ammonites belong to a group of cephalopods which include octopus, squid, cuttlefish & nautilus. The word 'ammonite' comes from the Greek Ram-horned God: Ammon.

I transform a limited number into Gem Ammonites by adding gem stones......... inlaying naturally occurring voids with at least two of these natural gems: Turquoise • Chrysocolla • Azurite • Malachite, using a rare & delicate process.
